For smokers or sweetie fans, Kerrigans will will not disappoint.

The only place I know where the huge selection of sweets and tobacco are stored in large jars, weighed out and bagged.

It's like a stage set from a 1950's production, with service to match; that is patient and attentive. They sell newspapers too, so if you are in Perth and want to buy sweets, tobacco and newspapers, this is the place to go. Such a small shop, but the range of sweets, tobacco, cigarette papers, cigars, pipes, lighters and other related necessities is mind boggling!

I have been a customer for over 20 years and live in dread of it being closed, as with so many small businesses, because of the supermarket juggernauts rolling over everything.

I know people who come from out of town to shop there.

Hardly surprising; it's a really good example of former times when certain things were better!.
